Follow Ruby on her quest to break free from Elias' curse!

UPDATE: There are no mouse controls. Select options in the main menu by using the arrow keys and the jump button

The windows version is what I recommend for the jam, but you can also play on the browser. Mac version is now here too. I can't test it at the moment so I am not sure if it works

NOTE: The spear ability only creates a platform if the spear travels a small distance. It  may be difficult to leave the boss room where you find it due to that. Sorry about this. Should have made a better adjustment for it

Controls (Controller highly recommended!). All buttons assume an XBox controller.

D-Pad / Arrow Keys: Movement

A Button / Z Key: Jump, Progress dialogue

X Button / X Key: Attack

Y Button / C Key: Spear Projectile (When unlocked)

B Button / A Key: Air Dash (When unlocked)

Start Button / Escape Key: Pause

Hey Jose, nice work. But I can't do air dash XD (Chrome browser on my Mac)

amazing art style. Great animations. This has lots of potential!

I realllly wish there was  a map, and the combat feels pretty unfair because it’s impossible to dodge some things (before getting the dash). I think it’s mostly how fast some of the attacks are.

oh and with throwing spears for a platform, I think it should still stick even if your right next to a wall (currently it disappears and you have to back up)

The idea and story is interesting, although that thing with the spear projectile is a little annoying, and I find the save rooms too big, but I definitely see it being a decent game with a couple of improvements if you want to continue developing it
